March Goals: My Review
Posted onWell, it's the end of the month, so here is my review of my monthly goals. I did surprisingly well ... and it was mostly due to being able to make almost $300 in extra income.
Also, I watched the movie Juno for the first time the other night. I love love loved it!!
March Goals (end of month review):
- Successfully complete the February-March Lunch Challenge. Check! I'm really please to say that I was able to accomplish this! :) From February 19th to March 31st, I didn't spend a single cent from 9-5pm during the work week! (I took a vacation day for the 31st, so today is technically my last day of the challenge).
- $100 into Travel Fund. Check! I was able to deposit $200. Going forward, I will be dumping in $150 bi-weekly.
- $400 into Condo Down Payment Fund. Check! I deposited $550.
- $300 into Emergency Fund. Check! I deposited $350.
- $150 grocery budget. Check! I spent $146.74 for the month.
- $200 for my sister's birthday. Pending. We still have to figure out when she's coming over, and what, exactly, we're going to do for our spa day.
- Make an extra $150. Check! I made an additional $292.06. :)
